Please read the scripture from The Message, then meditate on it as if you were a disciple then meditate some more.
Another day, another crowd, another set of teaching. At least no Pharisees are around today.
It was a great story about a farmer planting seeds – but not all the seeds produced. We all know that. But Jesus never said “And the moral of the story is…”
When the crowds were gone, we followers asked Jesus what the story meant. After he told us it seemed so obvious.
But what about the crowds? Will any of them “get it”? Or will they give up? Or will they keep following until the “get it”?
Why do I keep following?
What do I really want from Jesus?
