I really love how Jesus thinks!
“What kind of action suits the Sabbath best? Doing good or doing evil? Helping people or leaving them helpless?”
Why hasn’t anyone thought of that before? Or if they have – why didn’t they speak up?
The Pharisees are all about rules – rules – rules - I get it. Rules are important. But not when common sense makes better sense! But then, I’m not a ‘rules’ person anyway…
Who am I kidding – I’ve never even considered standing up to a Pharisee or questioning their teaching….
But I’m glad Jesus does!
